Anita Bergsma

Anita Bergsma is a mother, an entrepreneur, traveller, tree hugger and lover of life. She lives in Halton Hills, Ontario. Anita has studied at Sheridan College in Non for Profit and Voluntary Management and Leadership Management.
Currently, Anita is a business owner of a cleaning company and has been a life coach for over 10 years. Prior to this, Anita worked at World Vision in fundraising and marketing for over 6 years, working alongside large groups to bring awareness and encourage fundraising for World Vision programs in developing communities. In 2011, Anita started her own non for profit, Chance to Play, after collecting and gently used and new soccer gear from her location soccer club and donating to a school and orphanage in Tanzania. They have collected over 500,000 pieces of soccer gear and continue to donate to communities and soccer programs around the world including Nunavut.
Anita has always had a passion for giving back to her community through volunteering at the food bank, local hospital, Bruce Trail, and Trees for Halton Hills. In her spare time, Anita loves to lead hikes along the Bruce Trail, travel, crochet, garden and read.
