This initiative will increase the income-earning potential of young Inuit mothers and women by providing employment and skill-buildling opportunities.

This project will allow us to purchase books in Inuktitut to include in our baby care boxes. We will also translate our website and other promotional materials.

We are using a social media platform with over 3,500 followers to promote the Newborn Wellness Kits provided by the government and to share key health promotion messages on early childhood development and maternal health.

This project helps purchase much-needed items to add to our baby care boxes and cover costs associated with shipping of supplies to Iqaluit. It also provides funds for project coordination.
