We send care boxes to babies in Nunavut.
Accessing baby supplies is challenging in Nunavut. Due to the high cost of shipping, prices can be 2 to 3 times higher than in southern Canada and there is a low supply of these items in most communities. Shipped items can often take weeks to arrive.
Our inspirational story started with a young woman who saw a need and responded. Now we are a registered charity and have sent packages to over 1,600 moms and babies in Nunavutโs 25 communities.

Whatโs New
Attention Rankin Inlet Residents!
The Arctic Inspiration Youth Prize team, sponsored by One Plane Away, is excited to announce a second sewing program for Inuit moms in Rankin Inlet. The program will last seven weeks. At the program, moms will learn to make winter clothing for their children (i.e., parka, snowsuit, and/or wind pants). All materials will be provided. Interested moms living in Rankin Inlet can apply to the program using this link.
