Aneeka Anderson

Aneeka Sapangalik Anderson is an urban Inuk from Ottawa, Ontario. Her biological mother is from Pangnirtung, Nunavut. Aneeka holds a BA in Political Science and Anthropology from McGill University and currently works for Inuusivut, part of the Mental Health and Addictions (MHA) program at the Government of Nunavut. Aneeka began volunteering with One Plane Away in Fall 2023 when she moved to Iqaluit from Montreal. She was introduced to the charity by her friends and loves packing up boxes for babies and families across Nunavut. In her free time, Aneeka enjoys spending time with her big family, walking her dogs, throat singing with her sisters, knitting, and watching scary movies.
