Babies across Nunavut to receive books in Inuktitut

One Plane Away extends its heartfelt appreciation to the Nunavut Bilingual Education Society (NBES) for their recent donation of 100 books to include in our baby care boxes. Thanks to this generous gift, babies across Nunavut will receive books in Inuktitut.

The NBES “works to preserve and promote Inuit language, culture, and strengthen literacy throughout Nunavut and across Canada by providing accessible, culturally-appropriate learning resources and support.”

One Plane Away is proud to partner with the NBES to promote literacy and support the wellbeing of Nunavut children, families and communities.
