On Giving Sunday in December, the congregation of Glebe-St. James United Church in Ottawa collected stuffies to send to Nunavut families through One Plane Away.
Youth Team continues mission of empowering Inuit women
In May 2024 the Youth Team won an Arctic Inspiration Youth Prize for “Investing in the Futures of Inuit Women”, a twofold project that aims to grow employment skills and confidence in Inuit women to pursue job opportunities and economic independence. Since then they have been hard at work realizing their vision.
